AWESOME AUGUST-all things 'kids' weekend August 7-8

Come out and celebrate all things kids during our 3rd Annual Awesome August Kids Day on August 7th and 8th. The event will run from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Bring the kids and enjoy fun performances, like magic and dance shows, crafts, art, music, outdoor toy demonstrations, free snacks, pony and train rides, cookie decorating, and much more!

Susan's Sweets is now Offering Birthday Party Packages (including a train ride!)

You pick a theme, anything from princess party, summer fun at the beach, Thomas the Train or whatever you like!  Susan's Sweets will provide a custom chocolate or vanilla cake in the them you choose. She also provide the balloons, table cloths, plates, utensils, napkins and even the candles!
 

 Each Birthday Party Package also includes cookie decorating complete with cookie cut outs in the shape of your theme, frosting, toppings and sprinkles.  The best part? You don't have to clean up the mess and Susan provides complimentary coffee and tea for the parents! Parents are welcome to bring small snacks for the party. 

  Once the kids are done with all that fun, they will get to take a train ride through Country Village! 
 
The above-listed activities are at a cost of only $16.00 per child!
A $50.00 deposit is required. Parties are scheduled for two hours. Additional activities including face painting and clowns are available at an additional cost.

Putt-Putt Fun!

We are excited to announce the opening of the only 17 hole putt-putt course in the state of Washington! Captain's "Hook and Slice" is open and ready for your family to enjoy! Putter rentals are available for $5 at the Train Station or Toys That Teach. 

 

 

 

 

The Village Bean

The Village Bean boasts a spacious sitting room with a well-stocked play area, featuring activities for children of all ages.  Owner (and mother) Karin Resing envisioned a cozy nook to park the stroller, relax with a latte, and recharge the kids with a healthy snack and some play time.  The Village Bean serves espresso drinks, tea, fresh baked goods and healthy breakfast and lunch items, including the greatest granola ever and the occasional chocolatey indulgence (because sometimes only a brownie will do).
